alright, I realize that a month and a half without a post is pretty pathetic. i will attempt to catch you up on what has been going on...but since it has been so long i am bound to forget some things. here are some of the things we have been up to in the past couple of months:

- Marriage Retreat at our church. I am sure that we learned something while we were there :), but what I remember most is that I won a gift certificate to Sonic! woohoo for free stuff!
- Medievil fair in Norman. Andy bought a didgeridoo! Yoda and Tucker are terrified of the noise it makes.
- Andy is playing softball on Thursday nights. Their games have gotten rained out almost every other week.
- We are still playing volleyball at church on Wednesday nights. We finally have a pretty good sized group that plays each week and we are getting much better!
- Vacation! (I will write a separate post about that)
- OKC Arts Festival
- Planted flowers

- Played Wii carnival games

- Our 1 year and 2 month old washing machine broke. (1 year warranty, of course) The repairman gave us a quote of $560 to fix it. I can buy a brand new one for $619. He was telling us we needed to replace the rubber gasket (it had a huge tear in it) as well as the door switch. Andy decided he would just order the gasket and replace it himself ($100). Too much explaination required here....we were just pretty sure that we did not need to replace the door switch. We waited and waited for the part to come in and after 2 weeks with no functioning washer and no part or estimate for its arrival at the parts store, we called a store in Tulsa. They had the part in stock so my mom and dad picked it up for us and delivered in when they came for my dad's dr. appt. Andy replaced the part and our washer is working!!!! I have never been so excited to do laundry!
- While the washer was out of commission we painted and tiled the laundry room.

- We cut down the big maple tree in our front yard. Half of it was already dead and we saw more and more dying all the time. We thought it would be best to cut it down before it fell down on our house.
